shopping paradise japan - tokyo report 4

to all of you who have been to japan know - japan is a shopping paradise!!!! and not only for clothes or anime and manga merch - for everything :) always when i'm back in germany from a japan trip shopping is so boring for me. now i'm so spoiled again from japan and it's really hard to realize that i have to wait again one year to be in the perfect shopping land :(

i love shopping but germany is kind of boring - especially with cute things. i could not resist to buy to much unnecessary stuff in japan but it can't be helped - i'm a poor victim of the japanese shopping culture :) i love cute things and one of my favorite brands for cute stuff is swimmer. i had one shop near my hotel in the ikebukuro train station and they sold not only normal goods, also sweets and cakes :)

while strolling around in harajuku and shibuya i found many cute, nice or strange themes for my camera and i want to share them with you ^^

i love those drinks dispener - they are so colorfull ^^

new year in tokyo - tokyo report 3

honestly i really don't like new year in germany. all those forced partys, firework, the countdown, the new year resolutions and and and.... every year the same question "what are we going to do this new year" - horrible!!! and this was one of my main reasons to leave germany during this time and to celebrate new year in japan. i didn't had any expections - all i wanted was to visit a temple or shrine for hatsumoude, to buy some lucky charms and to eat food from the matsuri snack shops. the new year evening and the next day were great. it was def. one of my best new year celecrations ever :)

in the early afternoon miri, andre and i went out for a bit shopping, playing ufo catcher and planing our new year evening.

first of all we met katrin and severine in an izakaya for dinner. because of the plans from my japanese friends our schedule was a bit tense and we didn't have much time for the girls. but we enjoyed our food and the puri session ^^

we spent the rest of the evening and the next morning with our friends and we had such a nice time together. we went to meguro to a big temple area and it was really awesome. so many people in the middle of the night - many many snack or lucky charm shops and we rang on of those huge bells. we spent there 2 or 3 hours but it didn't felt that long. it was great and def. not my last new year in japan.

extensions and puris tokyo report 2

on our second day i finally met nicola. i really like her blog and her style and i was really looking forward to meet her :) she is such a kind person!!! unfortunately i didn't had much time during my stay in tokyo but we were able to meet us two times. we talked a lot, had great food ( i think our tast is nearly the same ^^) she helped me and katrin a lot to get our extensions, and in the evening we went to karaoke. a great day with lovely friends!!!!!

my favorite omrice from pomunoki

yummy dessert :)

i decided to get some extensions in japan. since some years i'm using clip in extensions. i'm really pleased with them but i wanted permanent extensions. after a real bad experience in germany i never tryed it again and i waited until my japan holiday. nicola helped me a lot. i read this report in her blog about the salon yuhouse. i was totally curious how the extensions will come out. is the hair color like my color? is the hair quality ok? can i get along with the braids? after 4 hours ( 2 of them were only waiting time) katrin and i had finally long hair. and i'm 100% happy with the resault.  now, nearly 4 weeks later they are still good - the color is perfect, the quality is good and it's really easy to style them. it was a good decision :)

Japan Holiday 2011 / 2012 - Tokyo

nce one week i'm again back in germany. my japan holiday feels so unreal now. it was my 6th time in japan and we were there from the 29th decemer 2011 - 12th january 2012. we celebrated new year in japan ( it was my very first time to be in a foreign country at new year) and andres birhtday. this time i really could forget all of my stress at home. no houswork, no pet care, no office work - only sleeping, drinking, shopping and eating.

the 14 days in japan felt like 7 or 8 weeks for ne. it was a wonderfull time there!!! i enjoyed everything like hell *hihi*. actually some days before our trip i felt really unwell. i hate flying and i was so afraid of the flight and i also was afraid how japan will be afer the 11th march 2011. it was a strange and unrealistic feeling to go to japan. but it was the right decision and it was one of my best trips to this great country.

the fligh was great -the A380 is awesome. i never had such a quite and relaxing flight like this time. i really don't want to fly in a smaler airplane again :)

cute owls in ikebukuro

we stayed in ikebukuro in the toyoko inn. i can really recommend you this hotel. ikebukuro is one of my most-liked areas in tokyo. if you like gyaru fashion you have the parco, if you like anime and manga you can go to the animate, if you like food you can visit the sweets paradise and for everything else - visit the sunshine city or the best place on earth - the donki ^^

our first day was lazy - only eating, little shopping and strolling around in ikebukuro.

 yummy!!!

those strawberrys are so incredible EXPENSIVE!!!

in the late afternoon andre and i went to the sadie tour final in shibuya. the concert was awesome. i had much fun there. ok i was tired because it was the first day after a long flight, but i manged it to stick it out :) but our daily highlight was the "ayumi-hamasaki-fan-car-tuning-show" in front of the meiji shrine in harajuku. after the ayumi hamasaki concert the fans presented their cars - i really never never never seen such cars before. really, japanese fans are totally crazy. but that is a reason why i love japan. i made some pics of the cars but you can see it better in this video :)

i can be tired as hell BUT shopping is always possible :) here my haul from the first day.

nails nails nails

since last thurstday andre and i are back from our japan holiday. we spent 14 wonderfull days in tokyo, kyoto and osaka. i met great people and friends and collected lots of new and very important memories.

japan was again totally impressiv and with my next blog post i will start with my holiday report, but first of all i must take a look over all of my and andre pics :)

this post is about my last and my current nails. for japan i wanted a real warm and feminine nailart who fits good to my clothes. the result was awesome!!!! they had the perfect lenght and shape.

i really loved this design but they were to long and i broke two nails in japan. for my next nailart i decided to shorten them and to use a complete different color. actually i don't like short nails but since i saw jenis new and short nails i really start to like this shape of nails :) and this flip/flop blue is so pretty. i really like my current nails too.
